Curriculum
Namma Kannada Kalike Kaaryakrama, is proud to share how our leadership develops and implements a challenging, coherent, relevant, and research-based curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to provide all students with the opportunity to reach their learning goals, reflecting our mission and learner goals while addressing current student learning needs.
- Creating phonemic awareness of different sounds, emerging from words in rhymes and audio clips.
- We start by conducting thorough research to ensure our curriculum is up-to-date and grounded in proven educational theories. The Nali Kali (Play and Learn) methodology we use is highly successful across public schools in Karnataka State.
- Our team collaborates with linguistic experts, educators, and program leaders to craft a curriculum that integrates traditional and contemporary teaching methods.
- We incorporate interactive activities such as storytelling, music and cultural workshops, which make learning Kannada engaging and relevant.
- Our documented curriculum outlines the courses of study necessary to achieve our stated goals. Each course is carefully designed to be rigorous and coherent, providing students with a structured yet flexible learning path. We continuously assess the rigor and coherence of our curriculum by analyzing program performance data, ensuring that it meets high educational standards.
- To maintain the relevance and accuracy of our content, we have established a regular review cycle. This involves evaluating our program’s effectiveness and updating our curriculum to reflect new research findings and evolving student needs. Our goal is to ensure that the content we teach is always aligned with our learner goals. We are currently using a 4 times revised edition for first grade and mostly 3 times revised edition for 2nd and 3rd grades.
